Ian Jickell

Ian brings more than 20 years’ experience working across the marketing communications, brand and sponsorship industries. From robust strategic insight, research & analysis, Ian has led major, successful and industry leading integrated sponsorship and community programs with global, national and local relevance across a number of sectors.

Post graduation, Ian travelled to Europe, implementing significant sponsorship initiatives through Europe, Africa and Asia on behalf of global brands including Coca-Cola, IBM and Heineken. Returning to Australia via Hong Kong where he successfully worked with brands through Asia Ian joined brewing giant Foster’s, leading their global sponsorship portfolio.

Working closely with right holders, agencies and brands, Ian launched a sports marketing consultancy, prior to commencing with the organising committee for the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. He then lead the strategic sponsorship and community functions across global brands 3 mobile, Europcar and the ANZ bank.

Ian happily lives in Melbourne with his wife and two kids.
