Throughout the world, passengers on aircraft are used to looking at the view below and seeing logos of airline brands on stadium/arena roofs.  Airlines mostly sponsor sports teams in strategic cities where they do business to promote their hub status and many become the “official carrier” through partial barter relationships to handle those teams’ travel needs. This statistic comes from a sample size of 7,268 activities taking place last year.
